SUMMARY:2026 Wanaki Cup
DESCRIPTION:The Wanaki Cup is a unique event format in our club. Players sign up to play in groups of their choosing. After all entries have been received\, the players are divided up into teams of 6 players by the tournament director so that the total handicap for each team is as close to identical as possible. After the event is over and the scores are reported\, the makeup of the teams is disclosed and net scores are calculated for each team. All players receive 90% of their individual Wanaki WSGA handicap a the time of the event. \nTee times start at 7:30am. \n

DESCRIPTION:The Stableford is an individual event where each individual’s net score is used to calculate points awarded. Players will use 100% of their Wanaki WSGA handicap index from the competition set of tees.  Points are awarded on each hole using the net score as follows; \nDouble Bogey+ – 0 Points\nBogey – 1 Points\nPar – 2 Points\nBirdie – 3 Points\nEagle – 4 Points\nDouble Eagle – 5 \nTee times will start at 7:30am \n
