DESCRIPTION:Flag day is one of the most fun formats of the Men’s Club season. Each participant is given a flag with a number on it. This number is calculated as 60 + your Wanaki WSGA Handicap on the day of the event. The flag travels with you throughout your round until the shot number corresponding to the number on your flag comes to rest. At that point you place your flag in the ground and continue playing your round. When the flag numbered shot does not end up on or around the green\, the flag is placed at the closest edge of the fairway at the same distance from the hole from where the flag numbered shot rests. DESCRIPTION:There is no mystery to the Individual Net tournament format.  Each player plays on their own ball and will record gross and net scores for each hole. The handicap for each player is 90% of their current Wanaki WSGA Handicap Index for the tees being played \nWe will playing a beautiful little track at Hawthorne Hills in Ozaukee County\, just southwest of Fredonia 50 minutes from Wanaki. Cost will be $55 (tax included) for 18 holes with cart. Everyone rides. Tee times will at 7:56am and will run in 8 minute increments. We have 18 tee times reserved to start. Hawthorne Hills has a full bar and grill available if you would like to stay and have lunch after golf. \n

DESCRIPTION:4 Man Best Ball is a golf format for teams comprised of four golfers. Each of the golfers on the team play their own ball throughout and the lowest score in the foursome counts as the team score. This is also sometimes referred to as “Better ball” when used in stroke play\, or “Fourball” when used in match play.  This is also played as 2 Best Balls or even 3 Best Balls depending on the event. \nEarly Bird will be an 8:30am shotgun start. \nEach foursome makes up a 4 Man Best Ball team. We will combine registrations less than 4 to make full foursomes. If there is a group less than 4\, a blind draw of of 1 or more golfers in other groups will be used to to score the 4 Man Best Ball event for that team.

DESCRIPTION:There is no mystery to the Individual Net tournament format.  Each player plays on their own ball and will record gross and net scores for each hole. The handicap for each player is 90% of their current Wanaki WSGA Handicap Index for the tees being played \nThis event will be held at Old Hickory Golf Course in Beaver Dam. Cost is $60 which includes 18 holes with cart\, range balls\, and a box lunch at the turn. Tee times from 9:00am through 11:50am. Final tee times may be adjusted to fill gaps. \n

DESCRIPTION:Lawrence Welk 123-234 is a 4 man team event. Teams will be made up of players you sign up with\, not a blind draw. DESCRIPTION:The Wanaki Cup is a unique event format in our club. Players sign up to play in groups of their choosing. After all entries have been received\, the players are divided up into 4 teams by the tournament director so that the total handicap for each team is as close to identical as possible. After the event is over and the scores are reported\, the makeup of the teams is disclosed and net scores are calculated for each team. All players receive 90% of their individual Wanaki WSGA handicap a the time of the event. \nTee times start at 7:30am. \n
