The 1st week of actual play has been accomplished. It was cold and windy. It appeared that everyone was able to finish before it got too dark. All of the cards were accounted for by 8:24 which is unusual. Please mark on you cards which tees are being played by each person. It avoids phone calls or emails later as I am verifying the info on the card. Make sure you circle any birdies or eagles. Thank you to all of you for getting off the tee times in an efficient manner. Don’t forget to fill out the back of the card and mark if there is a sub playing. Any sub playing can find their handicap in the blue binder where all of the league members are listed with their handicaps as of the date in the upper right top of the page. Make sure you check the white and gold tees and the front or back nine. There were 19 total birdies this week with 3 of them not in the skins. Tom Halla, Ken Kosanke, Alex Perex, Andy Fix and Peter Smith each had 2 birdies. The 7+ handicap skins from each division had no birdies so pars were used to figure the skins. The Flag events for May 13th will be as follows: #3 closest from off the green in 1 or 2 no putts. #4 Shortest putt. #8 Longest drive in fairway #11 Longest drive in fairway. #14 Shortest putt. #18 Closest from off the green in 1 or 2 shots no putts.
