Wisconsin.Golf Article, Net Partners Deadline, Championship Scheduling
May 28, 2026
Gary D’Amato published his article on Wanaki Men’s Club last night. Great job by Joe, Jim, and everyone else that provided information for Gary to write the article. It’s really fantastic to get our story out and thank you to Gary D’Amato for taking the time to find out more about us and write the article!
The registration deadline is looming for the Net Partners event on Sunday May 31st. Tee times start at 7:30am and the weather forecast looks great! If you have not signed up, please do so ASAP so we can start setting up the tournament in Bluegolf. The registration deadline is 5pm on Friday May 29th.
Click here to register for Net Partners.
It’s no secret that Wanaki is probably as busy as it is has ever been. There are many club championship matches that need to be scheduled for June, so make sure you contact your opponent(s) early and get the match scheduled. We do not want to grant extensions past the first round match deadline of June 30th because of last minute scheduling issues.
- Plan your match early. If you aren’t playing until the last week of June, get the tee time reserved now. You can only reserve 2 weeks ahead of time via the website, but you can go out farther than that by contacting the pro shop.
- If you have trouble finding a tee time, Jim Ehnert has asked that you contact him directly and he will do whatever he can to get you scheduled.
- The Thursday 18 hole league is a sign up each week league that has a block of tee times from 9:38am to 12:24pm. Every week there are 3 or 4 unused tee times that are released back to Wanaki at noon on Wednesday for the following day. If you are not an 18 hole league member and have the ability to play your match around noon on a Thursday, please contact Dave Strackbein and he can put you in one of these tee times at the end of the 18 hole league block instead of returning them to Wanaki and the general public.
Completing the 1st round matches by the June 30th deadline is the key to the championships proceeding through the summer on schedule. Thank you for participating in the championships and being a member of Wanaki Men’s Club.
