Season ended with no rainouts. We had the division playoffs and want to thank those that participated in them. Since there only about 12 players from each division for the two week period we did not have any skins or $$ for winners just bragging rights. After the first week of matches Division 2 was ahead 60 pts. to 57 pts. Matt Meunier lead points with 7.5 with the lowest at 1-1/2 pts. (That would make sense) For the most part, most of the remaining matches were pretty even. The 2nd week saw Matt again take high honors with 7 pts. Division 1 came back from behind to win it all with 106 points to Division 2 100-1/2 pts.
NOW, the league final letter concerning payouts to the top teams in each Division and other statistics that you may or may not care about but they will be given anyway. There may be a few errors in these or maybe not any but those that may be concerned will only know if it involves them.
2026 Wednesday Night Division Payouts
Wednesday Night 9 Hole League Page (Detailed Standings)
We will start with the FLAG EVENTS. There were 96 flags in which there were 59 different players that won at least 1 flag event. The high flag winners with 5 were Jeff Fuggiasco and Peter Smith. 3 flags winners were next with Al Fischer, Al Schmidt and Tom Treder. There were 22 players winning 2 flags each and the remaining 33 each had 1 flag. Looks like a good distribution to me.

I must say that the longer hitters did quite well on hole 9 compared to the higher handicap players that had hole 9 tied with five other holes as one of the most difficult. The Divisions next year will have the remainder of those players that have not played one another at least once in the last 5 years dispersed throughout each division. If don’t see you at the DieHard then I will see you all next year, God willing. You can view the attached payout sheet. If anyone wants to see the master listings as they occurred before summarization, let me know and I will send them specifically to you. Check the website for the final standings or drop a note to Dave Strackbein who has been most helpful to me as I send him stuff to post.
