The Wanaki Men’s Club, established in 1976, is a strong golf and social club for area members who value good competition and entertaining events throughout the season. The Club offers many golf opportunities and competitive formats for men of all ages and abilities.

Prizes for flag events, tournament finishes, league places and club championships are credits to the member’s Wanaki account. Account balances can be used towards golf, pro shop merchandise or food and beverage at the Turn Bar and Grill.
18 Hole League
The 18 Hole League plays on Thursdays throughout the season with tee times from 9:30am – 12:42pm. This league registers and pays their greens fees week-to-week so there is no season long commitment. Registration opens at 9:30am on Wednesday, 8 days prior to the date of play. Prizes are paid to winners of weekly events and are also offered based the results of each seasons competition standings. There will be two 10-week seasons, one from late April thru June and one from July to early September.
Players always play their own ball in the 18 hole league and earn points in low gross and low net divisions. At the end of each season top points finishers receive payout and a champion is determined.
9 Hole Leagues
A 2-man team match play format is utilized for Wednesday and Thursday evening leagues. Several event holes are set up weekly on each side of the course. An optional individual skins game is also available with entry on a week to week basis and is split into two pools based on the players 9 hole handicap. High handicap skins include players with a handicap 7 and over where par or better can win a skin. Low handicap skins include players with a handicap 6 and under where birdie or better can win a skin. Tee times for these league nights are from 4:42pm – 5:38pm.
Tournaments
9 Wanaki home tournaments and 1 or 2 traveling tournaments are offered throughout the season with a variety of playing formats. Sign up for these tournaments is via the website starting 2 weeks before the scheduled date. Fees are paid on the day of the event. Club Championships
Club Championships in match play format are offered for individuals and 2 man teams. There are open, senior (50+), and super senior (60+) divisions with multiple flights in each to allow players of all ages and abilities to enjoy match play competition. Matches in the Club Championship are self scheduled between the opponents and each round is given 1 month to complete. Tom Binney Memorial
The Tom Binney Memorial Championship is held in September in memory of our longtime Club President who passed away in 2016.
Performance Cup
The Performance Cup was created in 2014 to promote participation in the club tournaments. Points are earned throughout the season by players finishing in the top 20 gross and net in each tournament. Gross and Net Performance Cup champions are crowned at the end of the season.
Social Events
Social events including Music on the Patio will be held one or more times during the season.
