Wednesday Night 9 Hole League Final Results

Well it has finally arrived.  The last night of league for 2023.  All I can say is that it was a cooker.  It has been a real pleasure handling the Wednesday night league and I appreciate the comments from those that are interested in what is going on.  I want to thank my partner, Steve Taylor, for helping me with the skins each night.  Also, to Dave Strackbein for putting up with my lack of computer knowledge in getting the stuff posted to the website.  Hopefully we will all see each other at the DIEHARD.  Remember the top 8 teams from each division will be playing the following 2 weeks division against division so your opponents and tee times will also be sent to you as well as on the website.  Remember those playing will have to pay the greens fee etc.  I have asked this in a prior letter about the division playoffs, if any of you want to play in the playoffs and you are not one of the top 8 you can be a sub for those I am sure will be gone during the Labor Day week.  The dark will be a problem and we may have to cut the matches short because of it but it will be determined which division is slightly better than the other.  I also want you to give Jim your thoughts about the great service we have gotten this past year, especially this past week in the oven as bottled water was brought out and offered to us.  No other course would have done that.  I thank Rachel and anyone else that was involved in that decision.  So, for the last time this season.

The winners of the flag events this past week are as follows:  Accounts will be adjusted by Jim.

Hole 2  Tom Halla     Hole 8 Steve Green    Hole 9 Matt Meunier
